On who you are…
Hi my name is Wan Man. I live in the beautiful city Amsterdam. I love running and martial arts. When I'm not running or doing martial arts, I'm a IT consultant.
On running…
I run with the Amsterdam Running Junkies, since 2012. Even tho I didn't life in AMS at that time. It's really fun running with the Running Junkies especially on the Running Tuesdays, it's a social run. Where we meet up at 19:00 at Tjin's on "van Woustraat 17" and start running at 19:30. We run in 3 different paces. I usually join the slow and sexy pace. After an hour of running our Chieftain Ryan has made some delicious dinner with the kitchen squad. I can really recommend to join us for a run when you happen to be in AMS. Also thanks to the Running Junkies Thomas,Cristiaen and Roland I got introduced to my first Bridge The Gap in Copenhangen 2013. That's the first time I got connected with the global community of running. This running community helped me getting connected with many wonderful running friends around the globe. In short I really like to run in a social setting, in which like a community we support each other to get the best out of ourselves and to help others to do the same.
On Street culture…
My favorite street wear brand is Raised by Wolves, I even wear their cap while running a marathon. It's a Canadian brand based in Montreal. I like their unique take on streetwear.
On Running culture…
Running culture is for me, what we as a running community define it to be. I've noticed the open and inclusiveness of the community that makes it so easily accessible. No matter where you go there always will be crews who open up their home and running ground to show you how they run their city. Nothing better than a local to show you their perspective of their city. Especially during Bridge the Gap episode you will notice this with the hosting crew organizing carboloading party, cheer squads and after party.

On gadgets…
My favorite gadget is my iPhone I use it to track my runs and to take pictures for the social media.
On injury…
Injury sucks, it doesn't happen to me often, Usually when I do get injured, it's not even caused by running. Usually that's the moment you realize, how blessed it is to be able to run.

On achievements…
My greatest achievement so far would be to have finished all six major in 1 year and that was last year in 2015. Not really something to brag about, but I'm happy to have that one ticked off of the bucket list.

On future goals…
To become faster on the marathon, in my own pace without getting injured and staying healthy.

On your social media…
My main social media I use is instagram @cursorwan to post pictures and keep in touch with the running community and friends. I use Snapchat @blondewanjovi to make silly snaps and Facebook to be informed of events going on and to attend.
On Pink…
You mean like Pink Panther? :-)

On Pain…
Sometimes I have to endure it and sometimes I need to listen to it and sometimes you have to listen to others who care about you and tell you to take rest. ;-)
When I die…
That's a sad way to finish a interview. ;-) I would say and they run happily ever after.
