"Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much." --Helen Keller

When I was younger, before I was even a teenager I was told the reason the Comrades marathon is called that is because the people help each other to get to the finsh line. I have seen it so many times, I guess runners have a "no man left behind" attitude.

I could move you alone but I choose not to because doing it as a group is much more fun. From now on every week an indierunner will be introduced.

Who are the indierunners?
They are inspirational individuals who live running from different countries. They are people who embody what the #RunRevolution movement is all about. They are runners who would run in the rain and during winter. They want to inspire you to lace up and join the RunRevolution movement. Some of them have pink shoes.

1. Who you are, how old you are and what you do?
My name is Atlegang, I am 21 years old and I am an IT student.

2. Location and crew?
Johannesburg South Africa, BraamfieRunners

3. What you have gained from running?
I have gained a pair of sexy legs, Spring has sprung #teamshortshorts. I have lost weight and I have gained people who are as obsessed about running as I am.

4. What you hope to achieve in future?
I would like to run with as many crews as I can. I would like to run a marathon in another country. Also a Comrades 20?? finish. I have not decided which year this will be 89 kilometres is not a joke. I would like to move you as well, to push you to your limits.

5. What makes you an indie runner?
I am obsessed with tights. I am constantly on the search for eye catching running gear. I want you to see me on the streets. I also have pink shoes :)
