Earlier in the series I interviewed Lesego Mokaleng and this woman is responsible for Lesego's running journey. They keep it in the family I like that, my cousins must watch out I am coming for you.


Q. Tell us a little bit about who you are and what you do for a living?
A.  I am 31 year old lady who works for a bank for a living

Q. How do you balance your exercise regime and your professional life?
A.  I gym twice a day in the morning before I start work and in the evening after work that is how I balance it


Q. What does your weekly fitness regime consist of?
A.  I run twice a week, weight training 4 times a week and aerobics 5 times a week

Q. When and why did you start running? 
A.  I started running in primary school I stopped after high school now I have been back to running for 2 years I love running its part of me that is why


 Q. What motivates you to go out there, when you do not feel like it? 
A.  My weight goal and body shape goal

Q. What is the longest distance you have ran? 21km
A.  What do you  love about running? The pain, endurance and the feeling at the finish line 


Q. What do you hate about running?
A.  Injuries

Q. What gives you the confidence to run in the streets?
A.  My speed

Q. How do you think running can empower women?
A.  By adding that extra confidence when you finally have those sexy legs

 Q. What would you like to achieve in the future in terms of running?
A.  To ultimately run the comrades marathon

Q. How do you envision the future of running?
A.  Half of the country waking up to run marathons so we can keep healthy and be alive

Q. What do you think about the lack of exercise among the youth?
A.  Its saddening

Q. What was your best running experience? 
A.  When I used to win all the running races in high school I was a champion 

Q. What was your worst running experience?
A.  When I got injured in February 2014

Q. How do you push through the pain?
A.  I try to ignore the pain and not think about it 

Q. What is your favourite shoe to run in?
A.  My very old running shoes they are 2 years old

Q. What can you not run without?
A.  I don’t carry anything when I run but I do need water and coke on the road

Q. What advice can you give somebody who wants to start running?
A.  Just wake up and do it at a very slow pace
