I love instagram, I love instagram. facebook is a hasbeen, twitter never loved me and myspace, what's that?. It is close to the end of "the women" series and it has been amazing being inspired by these women but on the other hand winter must go. I want to unleash my shorts. Instagram has enabled the movement to be possible and that is where I have interacted with alot of runners, do not call me obsessed with running I am not the only one. This woman is an inspirational runner and reminds me of Tilda Swinton. You should see her blog, I am jealous #bloggersunite

Q. Tell us a little bit about who you are and what you do for a living?
A.  hi, Im Bori (Style2run), from Budapest, Hungary.  I'm a mother, still a crazy girl, and a film producer dealing with post production mainly. Not always in this order:). Love to dance anytime and anywhere, laugh and having fun.

Q. How do you balance your exercise regime and your professional life?
A.  I try to wake up around 5:30 and get ready for a 6 o'clock run start. My boyfriend leaves for work at 7, so I have one hour to go. Doesn't always work out like this though, there are days, when I just cannot wake up. I gotta be back by 7, because my daughter is still sleeping. She is 2.5 yrs old. I take her to the kindergarden, and I either go to work myself by car or bike if the weather permits. It is pretty intensive at work a lot of times, although schedule changes depending on the movies, but I try to sneak out during the day for a run, if I missed my morning session. I feel guilty if I can't.
It is either family time, or work in the evenings, but once a week I can be found on the track as well.  My evening off:).

Q. What does your weekly fitness regime consist of?
A. I believe in running every day. Though I tend to be able to do 6 runs per week.  I usually do yoga before I go to sleep. Not a lot, just to ease my mind. I bike to work as much as I can, that is a 15K per day ride.  I used to do a once a week TRX session, but lately I cannot make it to the gym unfortunately.  With Emma, my daughter, it is pretty easy to keep myself active, even though I'm not on any fitness class:).  Lifting her is a great way to exercise the arm muscles.
When she was smaller, we went 3 times a week to a special baba-mama class, and it was one of the hardest cardio workouts I've ever done.  I also love to go out and dance, but lately, due to mommy duties I just do it at home.

Q. When and why did you start running?
A.  I started running when I was 10. Professionally.  Before that, I just ran on street races with my father.  However, the day after my high school graduation I stopped, and never ever wanted to run again.  I burnt out.  Too much competition, too much stress.
I've never thought I would start ever again. But this jan. 1. 2014 I just put my running shoes on, and went.  I ran 4 half marathons, one I got 4th, I ran an iron girl just yesterday, and will run Berlin Marathon on the 28th of September.  And collected at least 10 running shoes since.  I'm a gear addict.

Q. What motivates you to go out there, when you do not feel like it?
A. Insta family is my biggest motivators.  Also, there are these great apps, like nike plus, etc. with those you just have no choice, but to go:).  Progress is a great inspiration too.  Running can give you great confidence, because PBs and results come quickly in the beginning.  I also feel guilty, when I miss a day, so I rather run.  It gives me the runner's high of course, but it totally calms me down too.  I would love to say that running keeps me in shape, but for me, it something different.  I actually gain weight when running, so there is a big brain game to overcome the fact, that my body is changing because of running.  But I think I'm happier when I'm running, so this pretty much solves the problem, hehe.

Q. What is the longest distance you have ran?
A.  I cannot recall exactly, but I guess it was around 27-28 KM in my pro life. But I rather concentrate on my new life as a street runner and that was 24 KM.  Though, I gotta run 30 this weekend to see how I will do in Berlin.

Q. What do you  love about running?
A.  Running gives you freedom. You either listen to your thoughts or listen to music, or the sounds of the nature.  After a while you only deal with the brain and your body, and loose all the stress thoughts, and any anger if you had.
If you run with friends than you just accidentally start to step and breath together.
Five minutes after you finished, you just feel great.  And ready for everything!

Q. What do you hate about running?
A.  Starting is always a struggle with the brain, I wish I could skip that.
Also, there are days, when you are just not there, the legs or the thoughts are too heavy:).
And there are the sessions, when your legs just cannot take you further, faster.  When you just feel, that you are not improving.
And than you ask yourself: why the fvck do you run?
But next day, it will be better again.

Q. What gives you the confidence to run in the streets?
A.  Music, sunrise, friends, silence.  It is so different to see the city while running.  New perspective.  You feel fearless.  You feel you have all the power in the world.

Q. How do you think running can empower women?
A.  Absolutely.  Running is such a joy, it just gives you the superpower to achieve anything! And you really can!

Q. What would you like to achieve in the future in terms of running?
A.   I definitely want to run a marathon.  And keep on running.
Once, when I finally ran 42.2 at once, I will try keep loving running, but hopefully I won't set new goals in terms of distance:) or race, too much stress.  I like to enjoy running.

Q. How do you envision the future of running?
A.  Running became so popular globally, and a lot of people join the movement.  I hope it will stay like that, and we will keep getting motivation from each other.

Q. What do you think about the lack of exercise among the youth?
A.  I think youth needs to be motivated, and role models should be out there, to get them to move together.  I remember how I hated to get ready to go to practices, but I loved to go to meets, and races.  Winning regionals in Houston, Texas gave me such a drive and happiness, that I thought I could do anything, and nothing can stop me.  Kids are so ready to do sports, we just have to show the opportunities to them.

Q. What was your best running experience?
A.  I recently ran the irongirl in Budapest, this is a side project during the ironman race, so supporters could join too.  Not a big race, but such a great vibe.  I was sick, and drank a bit too much the day before, so I decided to register, but run as a recovery run, after my 24 k the previous day.  But than I met my nike team mate, and all of a sudden I was with the leading pack of girls, running the 10K.  Got 9th.   Out of more than thousand girls.

Also, I ran a half in Gothenburg this May, with over 60.000 people running together.  Supporters were all along the way, all of them cheering, some actually cooked super healthy cakes and drinks, so runners could keep going with its fuel.  I wanted to stop and thank them all, it was such a motivation - I still get wet eyed, just thinking about it.

Q. What was your worst running experience?
A.  When you finish any running session, there is no more worst experience.  As soon as you finish, you are all ok.  So, I cannot really answer this question:).

Q. How do you push through the pain?
A.  Its a brain work, really.  You gotta talk it out with yourself, or just say out loud: shut up.  When it is a physical pain, that is something different though.  I was injured once, so Im pretty lucky, it was my achilles, but I ran the 21K race anyways.  I wanted to finish.  I knew if I stopped, I would not start again.  But there are serious conditions, should be medically helped immediately.

Q. What is your favourite shoe to run in?
A.  I love my Nike Free 3.0, though over 10K, I don't recommend it on the concrete.  I also love my Nike Racer equally with my Nike Flyknit 1+, they are both made for my feet.

Q. What can you not run without?
A.  My nike running app. Seriously.  Tracking my own progress is so important.

Q. What advice can you give somebody who wants to start running?
A.  Listen to your body, and not to the advice coming from runners.  Run when you feel like it, and run how you feel like it.  Its all about you, nothing else matters.
And you can start any age.  The older the better and wiser, and more compliments you get:).

Q. Which Social media sites are you on and how can one follow you?
A. Im on instagram - @style2run, I have a blog style2run.wordpress.com, and I also can be found on nike running app: Bori Bartucz.
